After Barcelona's loss, Real Madrid officially wins the La Liga title for the 36th time in its history.

Real Madrid officially won the Spanish League title, for the 36th time in its history, after Barcelona lost to its host Girona.

 Barcelona lost, 4-2, to its neighbor Girona, this evening, Saturday, in the matches of the 34th round of La Liga.

 Earlier in the day, Real Madrid defeated its guest, Cadiz, by three clean goals.

 The difference between the leaders, Real Madrid (87 points), and the second-place holder (currently Girona) rose to 13 points, 4 rounds before the end of the competition, while Barcelona returned to third place, with 73 points.

 Real Madrid regained the La Liga title again, after losing it last season to its rival Barcelona.
